I finished reading this book yesterday night. Find it difficult to put my impression of reading in words.

In her writing, which appears kind of dreamy at places, because there seems to be an intersection of dreams and reality, Smith has tried to understand the happenings in a specific period of her life and how it influenced her at that time.

Mostly she seems to be in trance, which might possibly be her state of mind while writing the essays, which she did write while travelling.

Though there are sparks of brilliance and wisdom in her writing, nuggets which may arrest reader's attention once in a while. However, the writing is not awe inspiring, even confusing at times or maybe I found it so because it couldn't draw me in as a reader.

Perhaps a good read for her fans
